Ingredients
  

  • 6 ounces raw large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil or neutral oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika or sweet paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon fine salt
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Lemon wedge, for serving
  • Optional: chopped parsley, hot sauce, or cooked rice for serving

Method
 

  1. If the shrimp are frozen, thaw them first and drain well.
  2. Pat the shrimp very dry with paper towels.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  4. Toss the shrimp with oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Air fry at 390°F (200°C) for 5 to 7 minutes, shaking or turning halfway through.
  7. Stop when the shrimp are pearly or white, opaque in the thickest part, and 145°F (63°C) if checked with a thermometer.
  8. Rest for 1 minute, then serve with lemon.
