Ingredients
  

  • 1 cod fillet, 5 to 6 ounces, thawed if frozen
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika or sweet paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon fine salt
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1 lemon wedge, for serving
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon chopped parsley or dill

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3 minutes.
  2. Pat the cod dry.
  3. Mix the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush or spoon the seasoning over the cod.
  5. Place the fillet in the basket in a single layer.
  6. Air fry at 380°F (193°C) for 7 to 10 minutes.
  7. Check that the thickest part reaches 145°F (63°C), or that the flesh is opaque and flakes easily.
  8. Rest for 1 minute and serve with lemon.
