Ingredients
  

  • 2 small boneless, skinless chicken thighs, about 8 ounces total
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika or sweet paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 lemon wedge, optional for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (199°C) for 3 minutes.
  2. Pat the thighs dry and unfold any tucked edges.
  3. Mix the dry seasonings, rub the chicken with oil, and season both sides.
  4. Place the thighs in one layer, smooth side down.
  5. Air fry for 7 minutes, then flip.
  6. Cook for 5 to 8 minutes more, checking the smaller piece first.
  7. Confirm the thickest part reaches at least 165°F (74°C).
  8. Rest for 3 minutes before slicing and serving.

Boneless thighs vary in thickness, so use temperature rather than color alone.
