Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (199°C) for 3 minutes.
- Cut the chicken into three or four even strips and pat dry.
- Put flour in one small bowl.
- Mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and Parmesan if using in a second bowl.
- Brush or dip chicken lightly with beaten egg, milk, or yogurt.
- Coat each strip with flour, then press into the seasoned crumbs.
- Spray the basket lightly with oil and arrange tenders in one layer.
- Spray the tops lightly with oil.
- Air fry at 390°F (199°C) for 8 to 10 minutes, turning after 5 minutes.
- Check that the thickest strip reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Rest for 2 minutes and serve.
